About The Company Shed
The Company Shed serves Mersea oysters, seafood platters and freshly prepared fish dishes on Coast Road. The restaurant grew out of the Haward family's oyster business and remains closely associated with the island's seafood trade.
Cold platters are a speciality, alongside dishes such as grilled oysters, lobster soup and fish specials. Tables can be reserved, with walk-ins taken when space permits. An accessible rear entrance and facilities are available.
