About The Sensory Garden
The Sensory Garden is a small public garden at the junction of Melrose Road and Barfield Road. West Mersea Town Council created it in 2000 with scented flowers and shrubs, particularly for visitors with visual impairments.
It contains *Flora*, a sculpture by local artist Shirley Morrison. David Morris designed the original planting, which the town council maintains.
