About Native Oyster Fishery
The Tollesbury and Mersea Native Oyster Fishery Company grows and harvests Colchester native oysters in the Blackwater estuary. It supplies oysters for sale and for relaying, continuing the area's long-established shellfish trade.
The company's activities also include moorings for sailing, fishing and motor boats. Oyster and mooring enquiries are handled through its West Mersea office.
